GR-4 2 Channel 2.4GHz HoTT Receiver

P/N: 33502

Compatible with all our HoTT 2.4 GHz telemetry radios, the Graupner GR-4 HoTT is a 2 channel receiver with bi-directional data transmission for real-time information regarding system health and performance precision and function.

Its compact size and top connector access makes the GR-4 well suited for any type of installation, especially where space is limited. The GR-4 HoTT receiver is packed with standard features such as telemetry for signal strength, receiver voltage, temperature and main pack voltage (available with sensor P/N S8362, sold separately). With a range of up to 500 meters and full spectrum utilization the GR-4 guarantees a reliable connection even at the most congested race tracks.

I have qty. (5) of these receivers in qty. (5) different vehicles and I race all of them. You can't beet the price. They do have some limitations when compared to the GR-8. It does not have the super fast latency options as the GR-8. Unless you are a really fast professional driver this is not a issue. I use a GR-4 in my X-Ray and it is plenty fast. The receiver is fine for Nitro vehicles if you are not going to race. The receiver does not have enough ports to hook up a transponder. The telemetry works fine. How ever you do have to navigate to the telemetry menu to see the external temperature/voltage sensor and it only displays temperature in Celsius. For electric racing this is fine. With electric racing I only set a alarm so that I know to change my gearing if the motor gets to hot. In Nitro racing I like to be able to see the temperature in Fahrenheit and be able to relay that information to my pit man so he can adjust the carb accordingly. That's why I think this receiver is perfect for electric club level electric racing. I think if you were a national level pro you would want to use the GR-8 receiver. I also feel that if you are trying to competitively race nitro vehicles using a transponder you will also want to use the GR-8. I have not had any glitch or problems what so ever with any of my GR-4 receivers. I have not had to update the firmware either.
